OMWD, San Diego Botanic Garden, San Diego County Water Authority, MiraCosta College and other water districts are teaming up for a Water Smart Landscape Makeover Series study. This educational study will provide participants an opportunity for hands-on learning through modules designed to walk participants through three key competencies necessary for a successful landscape retrofit. The series is designed to provide homeowners a comprehensive overview and the basic skills necessary for the successful conversion of the typical turf-dominant yard into a WaterSmart landscape. Each Series includes three free workshops and 2 half-hour coaching sessions. Coaching sessions provide participants feedback on their emerging landscape redesign plans.
