Water is a precious resource to those of us fortunate enough to live in Southern California. OMWD is currently in a Level 1 Water Supply Shortage that encourages voluntary water use restrictions throughout its service area. Continuing to meet our water needs requires everyone to maintain normal water use and irrigation efficiency.
Rebates
Metropolitan Water District of Southern California offers rebates for water efficiency improvements by residential and commercial customers. Rebates are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, until funding is exhausted. Rebate amounts may change without notice.

High-Efficiency Clothes Washer (single & multi-family) - $85
Weather-Based Irrigation Controller (less than 1 acre) - $80
Weather-Based Irrigation Controller (more than 1 acre) - $25 per station
Rotating Nozzles - $3 (One-time rebate - make sure you purchase all the nozzles your landscape will need.)

High-Efficiency Toilets - $50
Cooling Tower Conductivity Controller - $625 (pH - $1,750)
Dry Vacuum Pump - $125 per 0.5 horsepower
Connectionless Food Steamer - $485 per compartment
Ice Making Machine (Tier III) - $300
Water Broom - $110
OMWD customers may qualify for a $1.50 per square foot incentive for replacing turf areas with low-water use materials.
