As our region experiences a period of sustained extreme heat, the Olivenhain Municipal Water District (OMWD) wants to assure our customers that we are fully prepared to maintain safe, reliable water service throughout this heat event.

A key component of our preparedness is the deployment of emergency backup generators at critical facilities. In the event of a public safety power shut off, these generators allow us to keep delivering water. This redundancy is central to our commitment to resilience and reliability.
Our dedicated staff remains on call 24-7, with personnel ready to respond to any emergencies.
